A new Lenten project… holy cards galore!

Stealing the idea that this woman had nearly 10 years ago (Holy Cards for your Inspiration), along with a desire to post more beauty and such to the Internets (and by extension, my Facebook page), I’ve decided to start scanning and posting my holy card “collection” for the edification of people online/my friends.  This way they get a lot more than just either hanging on my wall or sitting in a Ziploc baggie.

So, to start things off on this Ash Wednesday, I will use this holy card I picked up at the Chartres Cathedral back in 2008/2009.  This is a close-up of arguably the most famous window in the Cathedral, the Notre-Dame de la Belle-Verrière, which dates from the 12th Century.

Blessed Virgin Mary, seat of wisdom, pray for us!
