Here’s a double feature today, because it is Easter, and we ought to rejoice! Our Savior has risen!
The top is a card received from the FSSP. It is pretty.
The bottom card is a commemoration of receiving Communion in the Easter season. These Easter duty cards are passed out to those receiving Communion in the Easter season (as it is a duty of each Catholic to receive Communion at least once a year in the Easter season) in at least Stuttgart, Germany. I also acquired a number of cards from the early 1900s which will probably be featured later this year. I think these are a nice tradition. Hopefully I’ll be able to find more information on them!
