Another Dominican!  Whodathunkit?  Bl Jordan of Saxony met St Dominic while Jordan was a student, and was inspired by the preaching of Reginald of Orleans to join the Order.  After St Dominic’s death, Bl Jordan was elected as successor to the holy founder and became the Master General of the Order of Preachers.  He is also author of the Libellus of  Jordan of Saxony, which is the earliest biography of St Dominic and the first narrative history of the founding of the Order.
