Today’s installment of holy card (with extra photo!) is of Our Lady of Czestochowa, that famous Marian image from Poland. Being in a city with a very strong Polish influence, it is unsurprising that the mother parish of the Polish community has a big ol’ mosaic to her (the Polish seem to love mosaics).
One day I’ll translate what this says. As for now, it remains a gift. She was, I think, a School Sister of Notre Dame.
